Junior Trainee Stores Person, Based in Marchwood, working days Monday to Friday 40 hrs, Salary: £12.91ph + overtime paid at £19.37ph, 33 days holiday (inc bank holidays) with option to purchase holidays, pension, life insurance and excellent training / career development opportunities.

We have an opportunity for a Junior Trainee Stores Person to join the market leading company at their site in Marchwood. This role would suit a recent school / college leaver, looking to start their career with a company that they can train, learn and develop a career with future prospects. As the Junior Trainee Stores Person you will assist with goods receiving, safe storage and issuing of materials to Operatives and ordering of materials and associated administration. You will have the opportunity to learn how to operate a forklift truck. 

Stores Person Main Tasks:

  • Receipt of and checking goods in, ensuring delivered in good condition
  • Off load vehicles using mechanical handling equipment
  • Organise, sort and manage stock levels
  • Chase late delivery/missing goods
  • Maintain stock records and stock take.
  • Operate B1 Forklift
  • Supply materials to operatives as required.
  • Ensure goods are stored in a safe and acceptable manner.
  • General stores duties including maintaining a clean and tidy workplace.
