Position: Team Leader - Home Care
Location: Southampton, UK
Type: Permanent, Full-Time
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our busy domiciliary care service based in Southampton. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of care workers and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our clients in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support a team of care workers, providing guidance and mentoring as neededConduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team membersEnsure all care plans are up to date and being followed accuratelyCoordinate client schedules and assign care workers to appropriate shiftsMonitor and maintain stock levels of necessary equipment and suppliesCommunicate with clients and their families to ensure their needs are being met and address any concerns or issues that may ariseConduct regular team meetings and training sessions to ensure all staff are up to date on policies and proceduresAssist with recruitment and onboarding of new care workersMaintain accurate and timely records and reportsRequirements:
Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory/leadership role in a home care settingNVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualificationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational and time-management abilitiesAbility to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyKnowledge of CQC regulations and standardsValid UK driver's license and access to a vehicle for work purposesWe offer competitive salary and benefits package, ongoing training and development opportunities, and a supportive and inclusive work environment.
