Head of Operations - Social Care and Counselling

Location: Based in Hampshire

Hours: Monday to Friday

Salary - £60,000- 65,000

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting for a dynamic leader to oversee the operational, regulatory compliance and financial and quality performance of both of our client’s care, counselling and wellbeing services.

The Role:

As the Head of Operations, you will be a key leader in our client’s organisation, reporting directly to the CEO and as a member of the Executive Management Team.

You will drive the achievement of strategic objectives for both service areas by undertaking high level analysis of the care, counselling and wellbeing landscape, ensuring effective governance and compliance with key stakeholders, whilst building and managing trusting relationships to a sustainable business model.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have substantial experience as a senior leader within the health and social care, ideally within the charitable and/or NHS sector.

Be results focused; the ability to work proactively, plan, organise, optimise resources and complete targets within agreed timescales.

Experience of managing complex and high-profile projects including data management, project planning, monitoring and evaluation, project control and project management.

Financial acumen - experience in budgeting, financial planning and developing business plans to support organisational growth, ensuing financial sustainability of service provisions.

Experience of tendering development and contract management.

Have the ability to demonstrate effective people management skills through delegating, empowering, motivating, and coaching to empower and develop high performing teams, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Have a demonstrable understanding of the requirements of both the CQC and BACP compliance standards and ethical frameworks in the health and social care sector.

Understanding of safeguarding procedures, incident reporting and managing compliance with statutory guidelines.
