Qualified Social Worker | Children's Looked After Team | Southampton City Council

• Qualified Social Worker / Social Work Professional required to join a statutory LAC Team
• Office base: Southampton
• Up to 42 per hour
• Office based
• You must have a social work qualification and full SWE registration as well as relevant experience to be considered

The Role:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced social worker to join our Pathways through care team working with children in care up to the ages of 18 years old.

A social worker appointed to one of the roles will spend their time supporting Children in Care who live in fostering, residential or semi-independent homes. We also support children to return to the care of family members where this is assessed as safe to do so.

We would like an experienced worker who has an understanding of looked after children process and statutory requirements.

To be considered, it is essential that you have a recognised Social Work qualification (Social Work Degree or Diploma in Social Work) and full Social Work England registration as well as recent or significant relevant experience in a similar role.
