On offer is the exciting opportunity for a Software Test Engineer who currently has enhanced developed vetting to join one of the world's most well known multi national technology business who have consistently been in the spot light regarding global research, development and innovation in the IT industry. Founded in 1911 and with offices in most of the world and well over 250,000 staff, you will be playing a critical role within this global tech giant as well as a vital role within the UK and Global Defence industry.
In this role, the successful Software Test Engineer will be responsible recommending and finding faults in the overall software that is produced, ensuring that everything is to the highest quality. Whether manual, automated, or cognitive testing, the Test Engineer would hold a key role in releasing the best deliverables to the end clients.
The ideal Software Test Engineer would have enhanced development vetting on application, commercial experience using testing tools such as Selenium or similar and local to either Manchester, Gloucester, London and Southampton, and happy to travel to local TOP SECRET sites as/when needed.
The Role:
- Software Testing using scripting and testing tools such as Selenium.
- Testing of all software products produced.
- Ensuring quality and standards are high.
- Manual, automated and cognitive testing.
The Person:
- eDV Clearance on application.
- Local to either London, Southampton, Gloucester or Manchester.
- Happy to travel to site as/when needed, min 3 day's a week on site.
