Job description
We are seeking a dedicated Sorter to join our team in a warehouse setting for the night shift. The Sorter will be responsible for organising and categorising materials efficiently to ensure smooth operations.
Duties
- Sort and categorise materials according to specified criteria
- Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory
- Assist with loading and unloading materials
- Operate forklifts for moving heavy items
- Perform picking and packing tasks as required
- Support shipping and receiving activities
- Handle materials with care to prevent damage
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous
- Familiarity with using warehouse management systems
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely
- Proficiency in operating forklifts is desirable
- Capability to load and unload items efficiently
- Knowledge of materials handling procedures and best practices
