The Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs, helping them access learning and achieve their full potential. You will:

  • Work 1:1 or with small groups, providing tailored support to students with EHCPs (Education, Health, and Care Plans).
  • Assist students with a range of needs, including ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), ADHD, and Speech & Language Difficulties.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external specialists to implement personalised learning strategies.
  • Provide academic and emotional support, helping students develop confidence and independence.
  • Use creative and flexible approaches to engage and motivate learners with different needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.
