Contract: Full-time, Permanent (following a successful probation period)

The Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs, helping them access learning and achieve their full potential. You will:
- Work 1:1 or with small groups, providing tailored support to students with EHCPs (Education, Health, and Care Plans).
- Assist students with a range of needs, including ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), ADHD, and Speech & Language Difficulties.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external specialists to implement personalised learning strategies.
- Provide academic and emotional support, helping students develop confidence and independence.
- Use creative and flexible approaches to engage and motivate learners with different needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.
What We’re Looking For:

- Have previous experience working in schools, OR have transferable skills from sectors such as care, youth work, social services, or healthcare.
- Are patient, empathetic, and committed to supporting students with SEN.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Are adaptable, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Are eager to learn and develop their skills through ongoing training.
