Are you a qualified and passionate educator looking for flexible teaching opportunities? GSL Education is seeking dedicated Primary Teachers to cover short-term sickness and absences in schools across Southampton. This supply-based role offers you the chance to work in a variety of primary schools and make a difference in students' learning and development.

About the Role
As a Supply Teacher, you will be covering various teaching roles in primary schools across Southampton, providing high-quality education in the absence of permanent staff. You will deliver engaging lessons, maintain positive classroom management, and create an inclusive environment to support the academic and emotional development of students.

Key Responsibilities:
• Cover classes across various year groups and deliver planned lessons in line with the school’s curriculum.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment for all students.
• Monitor and support students’ progress, offering feedback and encouragement.
• Ensure high standards of behavior management and act as a positive role model.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure a seamless transition during staff absences.

What You’ll Need:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience teaching in primary schools, with the ability to cover a variety of year groups.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools and environments.
• A positive, proactive approach to teaching challenges.
• Availability to start ASAP and work on a supply basis.
