SEN Behaviour Mentor Required - Thornhill,Southampton

U-Educate is looking to hire Behaviour Mentors who are dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for our young people.

We are an inspiring company offering Education, Care, and Therapy to girls aged 9-18. As an independent organization, we work creatively and therapeutically to ensure the best outcomes for the young people in our care.

Position Details:

  • Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, full-time
  • Salary Range: £18,000 - £22,000, depending on experience.

About You:

  • You are enthusiastic, friendly, flexible, hardworking, and motivated to provide the best support to young people.
  • You are at least 21 years old.

About the Role:

  • Serve as a positive role model for the young people.
  • Report to the Registered Manager, providing direct day-to-day support and assisting with other duties as needed.
  • Help promote a healthy lifestyle and development for the young people.
  • Plan and engage in appropriate, stimulating activities while offering consistent, caring adult support.
  • Be vigilant for signs of distress or abuse and ensure the safety and wellbeing of the young people.
  • Work collaboratively with the team, offering support to colleagues and accepting advice when needed.
  • Assist with accessing community activities like cinema trips, meals out, college, shopping, day trips, and evening outings.
