Full-Time English Teacher (SEN School) - Southampton (Start ASAP)

Are you a passionate English teacher with a commitment to making a real difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic English Teacher to join our SEN school in Southampton on a full-time basis, starting immediately.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of SEN students.
  • Adapt teaching methods to support students with varying learning difficulties and emotional or behavioural challenges.
  • Work closely with SEN specialists, support staff, and parents to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing interventions where necessary.
  • Foster a safe and encouraging classroom atmosphere that promotes students' academic and personal growth.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching English, preferably in an SEN setting or with students with additional needs.
  • Strong understanding of differentiated learning and behavior management strategies.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting young people to achieve their full potential.
