Join our team as a Community Fundraising Officer to plan and deliver a variety of community fundraising activities. This role is ideal for someone with excellent organizational and communication skills, eager to contribute to our growth and community engagement.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Design and manage supporter journeys for community fundraisers to maximize fundraising returns.
- Distribute fundraising materials and manage general enquiries.
- Recruit and manage volunteers for local community events and fundraising initiatives.
- Identify and manage attendance at Third Party Events to engage supporters and enhance our brand presence.
- Collaborate on developing annual community fundraising strategies to increase income.
- Oversee the community fundraising budget, ensuring accurate financial management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Flexible, with a can-do attitude, able to work under pressure.
- Willing to work additional hours during events.
- Experience in community/event fundraising and knowledge of CRM databases (desirable).
