About the Role:
As a Sports Coach at this school, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality coaching and training across a variety of sports, fostering students’ physical and personal development. You will work closely with the PE department to plan and run both curricular and extracurricular activities, supporting students to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality coaching sessions across a range of sports, including football, netball, rugby, athletics, and more
- Support the PE department in planning and delivering engaging physical education lessons
- Lead and develop extracurricular sports clubs, competitions, and events
- Motivate and inspire students to develop their sporting skills, teamwork, and fitness
- Monitor and track students’ progress in sport, offering feedback and guidance to improve performance
- Encourage a positive and inclusive sports culture within the school
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience in coaching sports at a school or community level
- A passion for physical education and promoting active lifestyles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- A positive, proactive, and energetic attitude
- Relevant coaching qualifications or experience in sports development (desirable but not essential)
