Hourly Pay Rate Range: 13.00 to 14.00 (Depending on Experience).

Equivalent Basic Annual Starting Salary 30,000.

For highly experienced candidates we can consider higher salaries.

Working Hours: 40 to 42.5 per Week.

Monday to Friday (potential for weekend work / overtime).

Based in Southampton.

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Blasting and Spraying professionals to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in blasting and industrial coatings, and the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires you to work with metal industrial components and equipment on small, medium, and large scales.

You will work a 12-week probation period, and on successful completion you will go permanent PAYE, pay reviews are on-going, based on reliability and work ethic.

Duties:

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by sand and water blasting.
  • Apply corrosive / protective coatings using spray equipment.
  • Inspect completed work for quality and make necessary touch-ups.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, ensuring they are clean and properly stored after use.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
  • working independently when required.
  • Working in a workshop environment and external yard facility.

Essential Experience:

  • Proven experience blast spraying to remove coatings on industrial equipment.
  • Familiarity with sand or water blasting and protective coating spraying.
  • Experience in a workshop / yard environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • You must be eligible to work full-time in a permanent role.
