Driver Hire Southampton is currently seeking a reliable and skilled 7.5T Driver to join our client in delivering plant machinery to and from customer sites throughout Hampshire and the South Coast.
About the Role:
- Position Type: 12-week temp-to-perm
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Key Responsibilities:
- Transporting plant machinery to and from customer locations
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Ensuring machinery is securely strapped and chained for safe transit
- Conducting daily vehicle checks and maintaining a high standard of vehicle upkeep
What We're Looking For:
- Full UK 7.5T driving licence
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
- Previous experience with loading, unloading, and securing plant machinery
- Strong skills in strapping and chaining equipment
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- A strong focus on vehicle maintenance and safety
