Driver Hire Southampton is looking for a dependable and skilled 7.5T Driver to join our client's team, delivering plant machinery to and from customer sites across Hampshire and the South Coast. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term, rewarding role.
About this 7.5T Driving Role:
- Position Type: 12-week temp-to-perm
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Transporting plant machinery to and from various customer locations.
- Safely loading and unloading vehicles with plant machinery.
- Ensuring all machinery is securely strapped and chained for safe transit.
- Conducting daily vehicle checks and maintaining a high standard of vehicle care and upkeep.
What We're Looking For:
- Full UK 7.5T driving licence.
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card.
- Previous experience with loading, unloading, and securing plant machinery.
- Proficiency in strapping and chaining equipment securely.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Strong attention to vehicle maintenance and safety standards.
