We're seeking a dedicated Trades Manager to join our dynamic Property Services team. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing a team of skilled tradespeople and external contractors to deliver high-quality, cost-effective property maintenance and improvements to our customers' homes across South Hampshire. Experience working within Social Housing or similar environment would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of 12+ in-house tradespeople
  • Ensure the timely and efficient delivery of maintenance services
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date property records
  • Prioritize health and safety, adhering to all relevant regulations
  • Develop strong relationships with residents and local communities
  • Manage budgets and financial performance
  • Implement innovative solutions to improve service delivery


What You'll Need:

  • Proven experience in managing direct labor workforce teams
  • Strong understanding of property maintenance and repair processes
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
