£45,000 DOE + Overtime + OTE
My client in the Southampton area is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join their independent HGV Workshop in the Southampton area.
You will be responsible for carrying out repairs and maintenance on a range of commercial vehicles within their workshop. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a relaxed environment with a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair faults on a variety of HGV vehicles
- Carry out routine maintenance and servicing tasks
- Prepare vehicles for MOT tests
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic (3 years minimum)
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Live in the Southampton area
