Our client, a key player in the manufacturing sector, is currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join their dedicated team. This is a contract role, focusing on the receiving, processing, and dispatching of metal in various shapes and sizes within a vibrant and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving, processing, and dispatching metal products
  • Ensuring stock is stored safely and logically
  • Utilising all provided safety equipment and PPE according to health and safety procedures
  • Operating hardware and software tools, including IT equipment and scanning devices
  • Maintaining high standards of work practice with a focus on safety
  • Achieving high productivity levels as set by Team Leaders and management
  • Conducting picking, packing, and deburring tasks
  • Meeting and, where possible, exceeding daily targets
  • Promoting excellent communication with team members and management
  • Ensuring the safety of oneself and others by adhering to safety protocols
Job Requirements:
  • Experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment
  • Metal experience (Aluminium, Titanium, Inconel, and Stainless) is desirable but not essential
  • Experience with Sideloader and Counterbalance forklifts is desirable
  • Flexibility and a positive attitude
  • Strong team player skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
  • Good time management and customer service skills
  • Great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Hours of work, rotating shifts of 06:00 - 14:00 & 11:00 - 19:00
