About the Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts & Audit Semi Senior to join our reputable firm in Leigh-on-Sea. The ideal candidate will be part-qualified with a strong background in both accounts preparation and audit assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements for a variety of clients.
  • Participate in audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and completion.
  • Work closely with senior staff to ensure assignments are completed accurately and within deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, addressing queries and providing support.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Part-qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and audit procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
