The Role:
  • Prepare and finalise financial statements for Limited Companies for manager review
  • Prepare corporate and personal tax returns, ensuring compliance and efficiency
  • Assist with bookkeeping and VAT returns, supporting the VAT manager
  • Conduct bank analysis for advisory projects and financial insights
  • Ensure compliance with company secretarial duties and administrative tasks
  • Liaise with clients and HMRC, handling ad-hoc queries confidently
  • Get involved in business development, marketing, and specialist technical areas
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in a UK accountancy practice
  • Qualifications: AAT qualified as a minimum (or working towards ACCA/ACA)
  • Software Proficiency: Strong skills in Excel, QuickBooks, and other accounting software
  • Communication & Client Skills: Ability to build strong relationships and explain financial matters clearly
  • Ambition & Drive: Someone who wants to progress and be part of a growing, entrepreneurial team
