An industry leading Asbestos outfit based in the Essex area are currently recruiting for a qualified and enthusiastic Asbestos Surveyor. This role would suit someone who has experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS accredited consultancy and are now looking to join an industry leading and continuously growing company. Covering Commercial, Domestic, and Industrial properties, you will be working in line with HSG 264 guidelines carrying out the full range of surveying duties in line with company / client needs.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Brentwood, Basildon, Maldon, Chelmsford, Cheshunt, Braintree, Saffron Walden, Bishop's Stortford, Colchester, Clacton -on-Sea, Billericay, Rayleigh, South Benfleet, Wickford, Rochford, Hornchurch, Romford, Rainham, Barking, Grays, Tilbury, Dartford, Maidstone, Canterbury, Tonbridge, Chatham.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Will have experience working within a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy as a hands-on Asbestos Surveyor.
" Will hold the BOHS P402 qualification or RSPH equivalent.
" Up to date knowledge of HSG 264 guidelines.
" Excellent IT skills experienced using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
" Good communication / organisational skills.
The Role:
" Carrying out management R&D, and re-inspection surveys.
" Undertaking sampling of materials that are suspected to contain asbestos.
" Safely bagging and correctly labelling materials with suspected asbestos prior to sending for analysis.
" Working in line with HSG 264 guideline on Commercial, Domestic, and Industrial properties.
" Using information from sire to produce detailed reports using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
" Liaising with clients, providing excellent technical support and advice.
