Bookkeeper Job description

Privately owned company with a diverse portfolio of real estate assets and successful businesses which have developed strong footholds in their respective markets.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bookkeeper to join our busy Corporate Accounts Team at our Head Office in Southend-on-Sea, Essex.

Your day-to-day duties will include processing supplier and customer invoices to ensure timely payments, completing bank and petty cash reconciliations, processing expense claims and month end journals, including accruals and prepayments.

Candidates must be AAT qualified or equivalent, have previous experience of Sage Accounting and must be proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

The ideal candidate will be able to prioritise their workload effectively, possess a meticulous eye for detail, bank reconciliation experience and be a great written and verbal communicator.
