My client is seeking a dynamic, highly skilled, and innovative Business Intelligence (BI) Lead to take ownership of designing, developing, and continuously enhancing their BI solutions. This role will focus on a three-phase transformation:
•   Modernising the Current BI Solution: Migrate to a cloud-based data warehouse for enhanced efficiency, scalability, and data accessibility.•   Building Advanced Data and BI Reporting Solutions: Develop comprehensive, user-friendly dashboards and reports that meet business needs.•   Integrating AI into BI Solutions: Leverage platform-ready AI models and/or develop bespoke machine learning (ML) solutions to elevate our data analysis and decision-making capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:•   MI, Data Analysis & Reporting: Develop and maintain management information (MI) reporting and dashboards. Analyse large datasets to uncover trends and provide actionable insights.•   Business Intelligence Solution Development: Lead the design and development of cloud-based BI solutions. Collaborate with business leaders to deliver BI solutions and explore AI technologies.•   Data Integration & Management: Integrate diverse data sources into the BI solution, ensuring consistency and accuracy. Establish a robust data dictionary and a cloud-based data warehouse.•   Continuous Learning & Innovation: Stay current with AI and BI trends to continuously improve solutions. Proactively suggest enhancements to improve functionality and user experience.
Experience & Skills:•   3+ years in MI, BI, or Data & Analytics roles.•   Expertise with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView).•   Hands-on experience with SQL and ETL processes.•   Experience or interest in AI tools and platforms (e.g., Snowflake).•   Success in implementing data architecture frameworks and cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP).•   Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.•   Background in financial services, particularly insurance, is advantageous.•   Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.
