Accounts and Tax Manager

A part time manager position within an excellent, modern, and forward thinking accountancy practice that was developed in 2019 with the vision to develop a practice that delivered a superior service and quality product to its clients. It has flourished and grown since 2019 growing to a team of 8, and now they are looking for a manager to supervise this team,

They are looking for an ambitious individual, with previous management and accountancy practice experience, to work 4 days a week with a maximum of 35 hours (this can be less). The firm are based in Southend on Sea, in the centre of town with excellent transport links. • Training and Development of junior staff
• Management Accounting
• Tax Compliance

• A minimum of 10 years' experience in practice
• ACCA/ACA qualified or qualified by experience.
• Strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge
• Strong IT and communication skills
• Previous managerial experience (at least 3 years)
• The ability to plan and manage the work of the team with a portfolio of circa (330 clients)
• Strong attention to detail
• Sound commercial awareness and management of budgets on jobs.
• The ability to nurture and strengthen existing client relationships.

• A maximum of 30 hours per week
