The Roslin Restaurant is at the heart of our boutique-inspired hotel with our skilful team combining familiar favourites with the freshest seasonal ingredients.

About the role of Chef de Partie:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Chef De Partie to join our hard working and professional kitchen team. Using fresh produce with a seasonal changing menu and an emphasis on local produce. The current menus are loaded with passion, imagination and a desire to be the best dining destination in the area. The food is imaginative, exciting, generous and all prepared on property using as much regional, seasonal & traceable produce as is possible.

What we would like from you:

  • Running a section with the possibility of assisting with food preparation of other sections.
  • Assisting with stocktaking, management of kitchen hygiene, food storage and supervising.
  • Reporting to the Head Chef.
  • Working effectively within the Kitchen team to ensure high level of service standards.
  • Excellent knowledge of food hygiene standards, checking that all food is stored and used in rotation to eliminate wastage and adhere to the Health and Hygiene Laws.
  • Following close down procedure at the en.d of shift to ensure safety of equipment and security of produce is maintained
  • Ideally NVQ Level 2/3 in Food production or other related culinary skills qualification.
  • 1 years experience working within hospitality preferably a hotel or restaurant.
  • Excellent communication skills and enjoys motivating the team.
