Are you an experienced Press Brake Setter Operator with a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision? We're seeking a skilled individual to join our Manufacturing team in Southend-On-Sea. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in producing high-quality sheet metal components, working with both CNC and manual press brakes. If you have expertise in precision sheet metal work and a commitment to maintaining high standards, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Precision Manufacturing: Set up and operate Amada HFE, EG4010, and HFB CNC Press Brakes to produce fine-limit, precision sheet metal components.
  • Equipment Handling: Use precision tools, including Vernier Callipers, Protractors, and Vernier Height Gauges, to ensure accurate measurements.
  • Machine Operation: Operate and maintain various equipment such as Fly-Presses, Guillotines, and Drilling Machines.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
  • Team Support: Work collaboratively with team members and assist with additional tasks as needed.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all Health & Safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks within the manufacturing area, including Assembly, Machine Shop, and Fabrication, as required.

Experience & Skills:

  • Essential:
    • Proven experience in precision sheet metal work.
    • Proficiency in setting and operating CNC and manual Press Brakes.
    • Ability to read and interpret 3rd angle projection engineering drawings.
    • Competence in using engineering measuring equipment.
  • Desirable:
    • Experience in the aerospace industry.
    • Power press setting and operating certificate.
    • Familiarity with aerospace materials, such as L163-T3 sheet.
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
    • Capability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
