National & International Service Engineer (Bespoke Machinery) £41,600 PA Basic (£20 per hour 40 Hours)  + Overtime + Company Vehicle + Phone + Laptop

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join a reputable bespoke manufacturer with  FMCG sector.

This role involves travel both within the UK and internationally, providing a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same.

You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing a variety of manufacturing machinery, including filling and packaging machinery with PLCs.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Travel across the UK and overseas to meet clients and service machinery.
  • Install, maintain, and service a range of manufacturing machinery, focusing on filling and packaging machinery, including conveyors and PLCs.
  • Stay away from home for a few days to a couple of weeks at a time, depending on the project requirements.
  • Receive specialist manufacturer training.
  • Work overtime, paid at  your hourly rate in units of 15 minutes.
  • Time and a third for up to 2 hours per day worked Monday to Friday. (Over 2 hours will be paid at time and a half).
  • Time and a half for hours worked on Saturday
  • Double time for all hours worked on Sunday or on a bank holiday.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Service Engineer, particularly in the manufacturing machinery sector.
  • Mechanical, Electrical or Multi-Skilled  background with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Willingness and ability to travel globally as required by the role.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
