We are seeking a skilled Forklift Driver to join our team in Laindon. This role is essential for the efficient operation of our warehouse, involving the loading and unloading of lorries and handballing. A current counterbalance licence is required to ensure safe and effective handling of materials.
Day-to-day of the role:- Operate a forklift with a counterbalance to load and unload goods from lorries.
- Ensure safe handling and transportation of materials within the warehouse.
- Perform general handballing duties as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with company and safety regulations.
- Conduct daily checks on the forklift and other equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to optimise loading and unloading processes.
- Current counterbalance forklift licence.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Driver.
- Familiarity with warehouse practices and handling methods.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
- Competitive salary range of £25k - £30k per annum.
- Stable work hours from Monday to Friday.
