A vibrant, mid-sized architectural practice is seeking a skilled and driven CDM Consultant who enjoys the social challenges of leading a team. Known for its dedication to design excellence and its impressive portfolio of high-profile projects, this practice places a strong emphasis on nurturing and supporting its team. This position is looking for someone to eventually head up a large section of their internal projects, which will help them grow.

In this role, you'll enjoy the independence to manage your projects with flexibility, including remote work options. You will spend an average of 2 days in the office per week.

The CDM Consultant Role

As the Principal Designer, you will oversee a portfolio of dynamic projects, taking on the dual role of Principal Designer and Client Advisor. You'll collaborate closely within a dedicated team of CDM and Health & Safety professionals.

The CDM Consultant Will Have:

  • NEBOSH Construction (required)
  • Tech IOSH (minimum)
  • APS membership (preferred)
  • Design degree: Architecture / Civil Engineering / Engineering / Surveying (preferred)
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in CDM or a relevant field
  • Skills: Strong communication abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
