Location: Southend & Harlow (50/50 split)

Responsibilities for the Level 2 NDT Technician

  • Overseeing daily operations in the NDT Inspection area, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
  • Set up NDT equipment and conduct in-service control check s
  • Carry out NDT inspections on newly manufactured and in service components across a variety of products
  • Strictly follow all relevant regulatory policies
  • Interpret and evaluate inspection results against established customer specifications, procedures and codes
  • Develop and document inspection techniques that meet customer requirements and adhere to relevant codes
  • Traina and mention Level 1 trainees under the supervision of Level 3 technicians

Essential skills, knowledge and experience required for the Level 2 NDT Technician

  • EN4179 Certification
  • Understanding of EASA, CAA and FAA requirements would be desirable
  • Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
