Our client in Southend is seeking a Trusts and Foundations Manager to join their team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is your chance to drive meaningful change by securing vital funding for life-changing projects supporting people experiencing homelessness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure funding from trusts, foundations, and grant-making bodies.
  • Build strong relationships with funders, ensuring long-term support.
  • Develop compelling grant applications and funding proposals.
  • Track funding progress and ensure all grant requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather key information for applications

About You

  • Proven experience in Trusts and Foundations fundraising, with a track record of securing major grants.
  • Exceptional writing skills - you know how to tell a story that inspires action.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • A strategic thinker who can manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the charitable funding landscape and an eye for new opportunities.
  • Experience in homelessness, housing, or social impact sectors an advantage.
  • Knowledge of fundraising CRM systems.
  • A knack for monitoring and evaluating funded projects.
