Prime Appointments are currently looking for a Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Manager (HSEQ) to join a fast paced manufacturer based near Southend! We are looking for a manager who is committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015.

As a Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Manager you will be required to:

  • Serve as the HSEQ expert, leading thorough investigations and root cause analyses for significant quality issues, customer complaints, safety incidents, and reportable accidents (RIDDOR).
  • Support the Management Team in developing, overseeing, and monitoring the company's Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality performance.
  • Ensure timely recording, corrective actions, statutory reporting, and completion of all necessary documentation following established procedures.
  • Lead programs and initiatives that drive improvements, aligning with the company's objectives and strategic goals.
  • Conduct detailed Health & Safety investigations for any lost-time accidents or incidents, ensuring they are reported in compliance with RIDDOR
  • Ensure compliance with environmental permits, the fire prevention plan, the Environmental Management System, and all related systems and documentation across the site
  • Participate in Group audits, this could involve travelling to sites in Sweden and Romania

Experience Required:

  • Extensive knowledge of EN ISO 9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015
  • In depth understanding of HSEQ legislation and standards
  • 5+ years of post-qualification experience.
  • IOSH, NEBOSH qualified
  • Proficient in Microsoft Software's (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
