Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver planned lessons and support learning in the absence of a teacher
  • Work alongside teaching staff to provide targeted support to individual students or small groups
  • Assist in planning and assessing students' work under the guidance of teachers
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively in line with school policies
  • Adapt to various subject areas and provide flexible support across different settings


What We're Looking For:

  • Relevant experience as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA in a school setting
  • Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills
  • Confidence to lead lessons and engage with students across a range of subjects
  • Flexibility to work in different secondary schools in Essex
  • A positive and proactive attitude with the ability to adapt quickly to new environments
