We have a fantastic Receptionist opportunity available working for an incredible luxury 4* hotel in Thorpe-Bay.

We are currently seeking an experienced Receptionist to join our front office team. As a receptionist, you will be required to ensure the smooth check-in and check-out of our guests, whilst maintaining and exceeding the Roslin Beach Hotel standards.

The ideal candidate will be flexible and must be able to work Saturday and Sunday, with proven success in a similar environment. If you are a team player, have outstanding communication skills and are keen to learn with a desire to excel, we would like to hear from you.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure the smooth check-in and check-out of guests, following company guidelines
  • Answer phone calls and ensure all queries are handled effectively
  • Recognise and act upon sales opportunities
  • Handle float and takings accurately and correctly
  • Immediately report any maintenance faults to your line manager
  • Anticipate customer needs wherever possible and efficiently react to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Be fully conversant with facilities, services and promotions offered by the hotel
  • Ensure safety and security of all hotel guests and their belongings
  • Be punctual, smart, correctly uniformed, polite, courteous, and helpful to guests at all times
  • To understand and follow the departmental procedures

What we would like from you:

  • Previous experience as a hotel receptionist from within a 4/5* hotel
  • 2 years receptionist experience is a must
  • Ability to work with a computerised booking system
  • Exceptional customer care skills
  • Empathy for your colleagues
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Pride and attention to detail in your work

  • Distinctive, professional and warm personality
  • Confidence & professionalism in dealing with high profile clients
