Hydraulic Technician - Do you have experience with hydraulic systems? Join this team as a Hydraulic Shop Technician and contribute to the safe and efficient operation of aircraft components. (VISA SPONSORSHIP & RELOCATION ASSISTANCE ARE POSSIBLE WITH THIS ROLE)

This is an interesting team role in an established and busy engineering company. In this role, you'll be responsible for testing, repairing, and overhauling various hydraulic aviation components ensuring all quality and safety standards are maintained.

Main Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Component Maintenance:
    • Test, repair, and overhaul hydraulic components following original manufacturer manuals and instructions.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure that quality standards and procedures are consistently observed and maintained.
  • Safety Compliance:
    • Establish and maintain a legally compliant and safe working environment.
  • Reporting:
    • Prepare workshop reports and material reviews, enabling the purchasing and commercial departments to create accurate customer estimates.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Contribute to new capability development and research cost-saving measures and improved turn-around times.
  • Risk Management:
    • Undertake risk assessments and ensure safety requirements are met.
  • Customer Focus:
    • Understand customer needs and strive to meet or exceed them consistently.
  • Adaptability:
    • Be ready to take on other duties within your capabilities.
