About the Role:Our client is seeking a proactive and skilled IT Technician to join their dynamic team. This role requires regular travel to various sites, so a valid driving license and access to your own vehicle are essential. IT Technician - Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site IT support across multiple company locations.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve them efficiently.
- Support network infrastructure, including diagnosing connectivity issues.
- Ensure all systems are secure and comply with company standards.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement upgrades and new technologies.
- Document all tasks, processes, and solutions accurately.
IT Technician - Requirements:
- Proven experience in an IT support or technician role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, and basic networking.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle (essential).
- Willingness to travel frequently and occasionally work outside standard hours.
IT Technician - Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Familiarity with hardware repairs and upgrades.
- Certification in IT-related fields (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft).
- Experience working with a Servicedesk managing calls and escalating
