Family Solicitor

JS Legal Recruitment Ltd are excited to be working with a Legal 500 Practice, Our client is well established with a reputation for providing excellent client service. Due to continued growth our client is looking to recruit a talented ambitious Family Solicitor , to join there highly successful Private Family team on a full -time permanent basis. The team has an excellent reputation in the Essex market, and work for clients both nationally and internationally .

This is an ideal opportunity for a Family Solicitor who is ambitious and keen to grow and develop their career.

The role will involve dealing with a full and mixed caseload of Private Family matters, you will be responsible for running and managing your own cases with appropriate supervision.

The role

  • Divorce/ Dissolution of Civil Partnership
  • Financial settlements and claims following the breakdown of a relationship
  • Enforcement of Financial Orders
  • Financial claims on behalf of a child
  • Applications for Parental Responsibility
  • Domestic abuse and family law injunctions
  • Separation Agreements
  • Pre or Post Nuptial Agreements
  • Cohabitation Agreements
  • Attending Essex courts
  • Declarations of Trust and Agreements regarding how a property/ asset is owned
  • You will be involved in some Legal Aid work
  • Secretarial / administration support will be provided

The Candidate

  • An ambitious Family Solicitor with at least 1 years PQE
  • Ability to develop relationships with clients
  • Ability to network and business development to maintain and develop work from both existing and potential clients
