I am seeking a Line Station Manager to join my client on a permanent basis. As the Line Station Manager is a certifying engineer who is not part of the standard station roster, the role requires administrative and managerial duties with aircraft support as deemed appropriate by them. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of their locations as well as meeting all regulatory needs and reporting any deficiencies to the Operational Maintenance Manager for their region.

Location: Southend or Norwich
Hours: Monday to Friday,40 hours per week
Salary: Competitive + Shift allowance
Responsibilities
* To establish a strong work ethic and encourage staff interaction and ownership of issues across all reporting areas and departments.
* To establish a proactive and professional working culture
* To establish and develop a strong, informed, tenacious and technically efficient team.
* To ensure all relevant Station, EASA and CAA regulations are met.
* To ensure relevant procedures are developed, maintained, and reviewed ensuring compliance with all regulations.
* To ensure all relevant directions, procedures and directives are controlled and correctly read and recorded.
* Manage the line Station costs and revenue and ensure all expenditure is recorded and potential cost savings or potential overspends are brought to the attention of the OMM.
* Maintaining an efficient and effective Station structure to support the Customer Airline fleet.
* Ensure staffing levels and skills are sufficient to fulfil shift requirements
* To ensure a good relationship is established and maintained between all line stations and strive for uniformity in working practices,
* To manage, understand and strive to improve station KPIs.
* To have a good over site of selected 3rd party suppliers
* To ensure good communication is established and maintained across their relevant stations and interfacing departments.
* To ensure meetings are established and maintained with shift supervisors, OMM and Senior Management
* To ensure the line stores is a safe and efficient operation and in compliance with all relevant regulations.
* To instigate and maintain a rolling audit, security measures, stores procedures and tooling inventory as required.
* To provide support and oversight to the team during non-office hours to ensure safe, efficient and effective aircraft maintenance operation in the line station
* To be reachable, and able to make timely decisions in order to address any emergencies and urgent operational issues outside regular office hours
* To coordinate with the Duty Manager/Team leader / the team if necessary to ensure appropriate resources, specialist support and staffing are available to meet urgent operational challenges
Requirements
* Must hold a UKCAA Licence
* Right to Work in the UK
* 5 -8 years experience in line maintenance
* 5 years supervisor experience
* Experince on Boeing and Airbus Aircraft types
