We are currently working with a fantastic local company based in Southend who are looking for a Workshop Manager to join their team. The company specialise in heavy machinery hire.The role will be primarily based out of the Southend branch but will involve travel to the other branches. A company vehicle will be provided.This will be a hands-on role involved with the diagnosing and repair of mechanical issues on dumper trailers and heavy plant equipment as well as conducting regular maintenance. You will be involved in the training of new and existing staff across the branches ensuring standards are met across the business. 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Plant Fitter or similar role.
  • Strong mechanical and technical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
