A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Nurse qualified Endoscopy Team Lead to join a highly reputable state of the art private hospital based in Southend on Sea, Essex. The service is ideally situated in Southend-on-Sea and is within easy reach of public transport links and local amenities. The hospital has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Endoscopy Team Lead to work with the Theatre Manager to ensure the smooth running of the team. The theatre team are friendly, hard working and enthusiastic about the care that they provide. The team are passionate about person centred care and put their patients at the heart of everything they do and looking for a like-minded Endoscopy Team Lead to join them. This vibrant and modern hospital boasts some of the latest technology and offers a wide range of treatments covering a variety of surgical procedures.
Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as an Endoscopy Team Lead and will be responsible for the following;
- Managing the Endoscopy service
- Leading the team in the provision of care for patients in a safe and caring environment
- Provide leadership, advice and support to staff in the department
- Support the Theatre Manager in the overall management of the healthcare environment
- Ensuring care is efficient and clinically effective, whilst maintaining patients privacy and dignity
Who we're looking for
- Be NMC registered- your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- Minimum of 3 years UK experience in Endoscopy
- Experience leading teams in a similar setting
- Strong communication skills

Person Specification: All applicants for the role of Nurse Qualified Endoscopy Lead must have a valid NMC Registration with no restrictions and full eligibility to live and work in the UK. Applicants must also have at least 3 years endoscopy experience in the UK and previous leadership experience.
