Location: Southend-on-Sea
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £20,000 - £22,500 per annum
Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm.
The Receptionist / Administrator will be responsible for hosting visitors and ensuring the reception area is well presented to clients as well as forwarding and replying to communication via email and telephone. They will assist all Group Companies with the organisation and log of incoming and outgoing post. The Receptionist / Administrator will report directly to the Office Supervisor and supporting the CAO with ad-hoc duties as required.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Meet, greet and host visitors
- Answering calls
- Oversee and respond to incoming emails and enquiries
- Keep reception and meeting room presentable
- Printing and lamination
- Manage site keys, manage for distribution and manage the signing in and signing out of keys to contractors, site managers, etc
- Scanning and filing documents as necessary
- Print, fold and collate outgoing post in readiness for Royal Mail daily collection
- Organise Specials and Recorded Delivery post, communicate tracking number to sender
- Maintaining appropriate stock levels and stock checking for stationery and office supplies
- Assisting with the bi-yearly archive
- Ad hoc duties as and when necessary
- Assisting the Office Supervisor as and when necessary
- Liaising with couriers and delivery drivers
