Purchase Ledger Assistant

Or Accounts Department plays a key role in supporting the efficiency of our organisation. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our growing Purchase Ledger team. Key Responsibilities for this role:
- Ensuring the timely scanning and posting invoices onto our Property Management system with the correct headings and references
- Check invoices are sent in the correct format and refer back to the contractor if there are any errors
- Liaise with the Property Management department regarding contractor queries
- Ensure all invoices have been signed off by the correct departments within the workflow and are removed from the invoice register.
- Raise & post cheque payments onto the system and remittance advice in a timely manner
- Deal with contractor queries e.g. chasing payment, sending site declaration forms.
- Ensure direct debits are set up correctly & in a timely manner
- Filing and administrative tasks as required
Essentials for the Role
You will be required to work full time in our Leigh-on-Sea Office, with hours of 9:00am to 5:30pm.

- Have at least 1 years’ Purchase Ledger experience
- Sound commercial understanding
- Possess a meticulous attention to detail
- Manage their time well and can multitask
- Are an excellent communicator
- Are organised
