The school is open to considering both experienced teachers as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and would also welcome applications from Humanities Teachers who possess the confidence and capability to teach Geography as their primary subject.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Geography Teacher:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and stimulating Geography lessons across key stage 3 and 4.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Be committed to school improvement and to the development of teaching and learning
  • Demonstrate commitment to helping all children & parents succeed and achieve
  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to students' needs.
  • Assess and track student progress, implementing effective teaching strategies.
  • Be fully committed to safeguarding children
  • Be positive & enthusiastic role models for pupils.
