GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Maths Teacher to join secondary schools in Southend on sea. As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Mathematics lessons, preparing lesson plans according to the national curriculum, and supporting students across the school's key stages. You will also work closely with students with special needs, providing one-to-one or small group support to ensure they reach their academic potential. Responsibilities of a Mathematics Teacher:

  • Teach Mathematics to students in primary and secondary schools.
  • Create lesson plans and syllabi according to the national curriculum.
  • Deliver lessons in line with the school's Key Stages.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience.

Job Requirements for a Maths Teacher:

  • Holding QTS or PGCE, NQT, or ECT is mandatory.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Science, or a related education field.
  • Prior experience as a Maths Teacher is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and key stage requirements.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
