Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - SEMH School

We are looking for a dedicated and patient Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a specialist school in Southend, supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This full-time role is perfect for someone passionate about helping young people with additional needs succeed in their English studies.

As an LSA, you will work closely with teachers and students to provide tailored support in and out of the classroom, helping students engage with the curriculum and build their confidence in reading, writing, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with SEMH needs in their English lessons, helping them access the curriculum and reach their potential.
- Work one-on-one or in small groups to provide targeted support in reading, writing, and comprehension.
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering differentiated lessons that meet the unique needs of each student.
