Strategy Education are recruiting for a learning support assistant to work in a year 2 classroom of a primary school in the Southend-on-Sea area of Essex.
The successful learning support assistant will be working with the whole class, as well as with small groups and on a 1:1 basis with children with EHCPs.
The opportunity for full time or part time roles are available for this Learning Support Assistant role.
The role will originally be from 19th March until 4th April, with a view to making this a long term to permanent role after the Easter break. The school is ‘Good’ Ofsted rated, has good transport links and is in a nurturing, inclusive environment. This role will pay £75-£100 per day.
Learning Support Assistants working in primary schools will be:
- Experienced working with children aged 4-11 years old
- Able to support children with Autism, ADHD and learning difficulties
- Good at building rapport with children in a school setting
- Successful behaviour managers
- Flexible and adaptable, able to think on your feet
- Passionate about education and the welfare of children
