HARP is Southend-on-Seas leading homelessness charity and every year we work with around 1,000 local people to help them overcome or avoid homelessness.

About The Role

Are you passionate about driving innovative solutions for homelessness and supporting individuals with complex needs? HARP, the leading homelessness charity in Southend-on-Sea, is looking for a dynamic Head of Specialist Services to lead the development of our complex need's accommodation services. In this new & refocused senior role, you will shape our approach to supporting vulnerable individuals facing intersecting challenges, such as homelessness, substance use, and mental health issues. If you thrive on making an impact, this is your opportunity to lead change, develop cutting-edge programmes, and influence sector-wide practice.

As the Head of Specialist Services, you will work closely with our senior and executive leadership team, oversee managers, and collaborate with local partners to deliver high-quality, recovery-focused support. You will play a key role in shaping our theory of change, developing our recovery and harm reduction models, and ensuring that our services are at the forefront of best practice in the sector.
