We are looking to recruit a Senior Practitioner in the Looked After Children's Team within Southend. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their social worker staffing levels.

The responsibilities of the Senior Practitioner includes:

  • Prepare and submit written reports as and when required, including statements and care plans for care proceedings in the Family Proceedings, County and High Courts.
  • Pathway Planning
  • Attending Adoption Panels
  • Standard Case Management
  • LAC Reviews
  • Section 20 care orders
  • Attending Court
  • Court Reports

To ideal candidate will have:

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Social Work qualified (MA/BSc/DipSW/CQSW/MSc/BA)
  • Car Driver
