Job Title: Front-End Developer
Location: Southend - Hybrid
Remuneration: Up to 45,000
Contract Details: Full-Time, Permanent
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to design and develop engaging, user-friendly web applications.
- Maintain and enhance our primary website framework, focusing on WordPress.
- Write clean, well-structured, and documented code to ensure easy maintainability.
- Test and implement code to ensure smooth functionality for key processes (sales, renewals, etc.).
- Troubleshoot and debug existing applications to swiftly resolve issues.
- Implement new features based on project specifications and user needs.
- Participate in code reviews to uphold high standards and best practises.
- Monitor website performance and address any technical challenges.
Skills:
- Strong team player who collaborates effectively with Project Managers and stakeholders.
- Open to sharing ideas and solutions to enhance project outcomes.
- Customer-focused mindset to ensure excellent user experiences.
- Clear communicator, capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Experience We Are Looking For:
- Experience with PHP.
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS, and WordPress.
- Strong experience with MySQL and RESTful APIs.
- Basic Linux server administration skills are a plus.
