About the Job:

You will be the driving force behind community fundraising initiatives. You will need to engage with schools, faith groups, community organisations, and individuals and inspire them to support the mission. Your work will help raise crucial funds, spread awareness, and build long-term relationships within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Community Fundraising - Develop and grow fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives that inspire community involvement.
  • Build Relationships - Engage with schools, faith groups, and local communities, encouraging them to support the charity through fundraising and volunteering.
  • Coordinate Events - Plan and deliver impactful fundraising events, ensuring they run smoothly and successfully.
  • Support Volunteers - Recruit, train, and empower a network of volunteer fundraisers, providing them with resources and encouragement.
  • Stewardship & Recognition - Ensure community supporters feel valued and appreciated, keeping them engaged with our cause.

Skills:

  • Experience in community fundraising, event coordination, or a related role.
  • A people-person with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • A passion for making a difference and a commitment to helping end homelessness.
